Breed Know is an independent reference site providing detailed, breed-specific health, behaviour, training, nutrition, and product guides for dog owners. Every article is researched using veterinary sources, breed club data, and UK-specific information including insurance costs, vet pricing, and regulatory requirements.

We exist because most dog breed information online is either American (and therefore irrelevant to UK owners on matters of insurance, vet costs, and regulations), superficial, or outdated. Breed Know produces in-depth, current, UK-focused content that helps owners make informed decisions about their dogs’ health, welfare, and daily care.

Our Editorial Standards

Every article on Breed Know is researched and reviewed before publication. We reference peer-reviewed veterinary literature, Kennel Club breed standards, and data from UK veterinary practices where available.
